SKIING IN RATSCHINGS
Ratschings is well known for its ski resort and we are only 15 minutes walk away from it! Seven lifts, daily or nightly maintained slopes at all levels of difficulty, a super ski and snowboard school ensure that you can have fun in the snow until well into spring. Party lovers are also more than welcome here: we have wonderful huts in traditional wooden style for après-ski parties without end and if you prefer to seek out the nightlife, you will also find a disco in Ratschings close to the ski area.
There are several gate runs set up in the ski resort that are freely accessible. You can time yourself here.

SKI TOURS AND WINTER HIKING
You can take a quiet winter hike to Flading. If you love trail running in summer, you will certainly love climbing the mountains in winter on cross-country skis or snowshoes. In Ratschings you can also hike on the edge of the prepared slopes with cross-country skis directly in the ski area. And for those who like to push their boundaries, the snow-covered 3,000-metre peaks of the Stubai and Zillertal Alps are in the immediate vicinity: Wilder Freiger, Hochfeiler, offer a unique winter experience. Anything is possible here. Please note! We want you to return home safely, so it is vital that you check the weather and avalanche risk beforehand!
If you want to take it easy, go to the Balneum indoor swimming pool in Sterzing.

THE CROSS-COUNTRY SKI TRAIL IS ON OUR DOORSTEP
The Ratschinger cross-country ski trail runs directly uphill from your apartment in miramor. So here you can easily get into cross-country skiing and winter fun. If you feel like it, do a few kilometres. The pure mountain air is very good. You can also cross-country ski well with our „neighbours“, the inhabitants of Ridnaun. At the biathlon centre in Ridnaun you can book a cross-country course and also practise shooting like the world-class biathletes. You can get the equipment from the ski rental shop.
The long dark evenings of the late autumn are perfect for a Christmas market with some punch or a glass of „Glühwein“ (mulled wine).

WINTER WITH CHILDREN AND THE FAMILY
The Ratschings ski area has a children's area where the little ones can take their first runs. And because Ratschings offers wonderful variety, you can also go sledding, of course! Our sled run is located right in the ski area. You just take the cable car to the summit station. The railway starts there. Then it's down again, and maybe up again ... and again, and again ... until you run out of breath. Of course, you can also hike up and do something good for your calves.
